The Long Valley Fire Department Wants You! Ever thought of what it would be like to be a volunteer fire fighter. The fun, the excitement, the recognition. Come work in a team environment with an amazing group of people. We are currently looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join the department. Come join us at our regular meetings every Thursday evening at 7pm at the Long Valley Fire Station in Crowley Lake. The Fire Station is located at 3605 Crowley Lake Drive next to the Sheriff’s Sub Station near the library and park. For more information click the Join button at the top of the page.
Did you hear a siren sound? If so, that means that the Long Valley Fire Department was called out to assist someone in need. Any time there is a callout for the Fire Department, the siren will go off to alert the volunteer fire fighters who are outside, away from phones and pagers, to report to the fire station right away. From there they will gather the necessary equipment needed for the situation and respond to the emergency.
